Our specification guarantee
If we supply a rope that does not meet or exceed the specification you provided, we will replace it and pay the freight.
Proof testing
Where the standard that applies to your crane type and where it ships (ASME B30.30, CSA Z150, CSA Z248, API or ISO 4309) requires proof testing of the assembly, the proof test is included in the price. If you need additional testing or certificates, tell us when you ask for a quote.
Manufacturing defects
Every rope is guaranteed free of manufacturing defects. If you suspect a defect, tell us and send photos. We may ask for measurements or other details so we can work with the rope manufacturer and give you a proper preliminary assessment.
What the warranty does not cover
Normal wear, and damage from use: for example worn or wrong-size sheaves, poor spooling, overloading, corrosion, lack of lubrication, or installation that does not follow the crane maker’s instructions.
Returns
All rope sales are final, because ropes are cut and terminated to order. For sheave gauges and Viper parts, contact us before sending anything back and we will tell you whether it can be returned.
