Crane not on our site? Send us the crane and we will quote the rope.Pick a standard, enter your rope details and the worst findings from your own inspection, and the calculator applies that standard’s discard criteria.
ISO 4309 Annex G adds findings at the same position together, and the calculator does the same for CSA Z150 and CSA Z248. Those two standards remove a rope at any one criterion, so this is on the safe side. ASME B30.30 and API RP 2D use the worst single finding.
The rope or crane manufacturer's criteria take precedence where they are stricter. The calculator does not replace an inspection by a competent person.
Get this result in your inbox with the rope details and findings you entered, ready for your inspection file. A crane rope specialist looks it over and tells you if anything stands out. Free.
Thank you. We will email you this assessment, usually the same business day.
If the result says the rope should come off, we quote the replacement the same day. Get a rope quoted.
